The trail ride was great and we had alot of fun. Neither Gracie or Carmody had done too much trail riding away from home and the Oklahoma Kiamichi Mountain trails were a bit too much for them. Carmody did make it through 1/2 of one of the trails and crossed two streams of flowing water (a first for her!) We were so proud of her!
Gracie ended up being the most spooky of our horses and we kept her at base camp. Our friends Don and Martha Crosslin (pictured in the video together with their horse, Black Pearl - (Martha is the blonde), came to our rescue lending us some of their horses to ride and we also rode A to Z Guest Ranch horses (Kathy is pictured in video with A to Z mount "Buster" - a small paint gelding). These trails were tough being rocky, with cliffside trails at times. The water crossings had lots of large stones to contend with. So our horses were a bit overfaced. It sure was nice to have a jacuzzi to soak in at the end of the trail each day!
Hope you enjoy the video. Earl and Kathy Loyd

I keep going back to the website to look at CC - and I'm so proud that our name is on her photo - I can't thank you enough for being such a wonderful person to work with and I'm sure that we'll stay in touch - I'll give you updates and send you pictures as CC progresses - I'm sure we'll have a blast with her - she is such a lovely gal. I'm so excited to get her home and introduce her to her "family".
I've been so happy with this entire transaction, Kathy, you truly have been great all the way through this - I know we could have hit some bumps but you were always honest and forthright in your intentions. I only wish that every person that had horses for sale would have your integrity - I think I told you before that a person sold a horse out from under me, and they were really smug about it. You are a gem, and I think I'm very lucky to have "met" you and your husband, and have had the chance to have a "virtual" relationship with you. Of course, I will always have CC's best interests at heart - and when she does have her first foal, you will be on the top of my list to contact.

BANANA PUDDING RECIPE
1 Cup white sugar
1/3 Cup flour
3 Cups of milk
3 egg yellows
4 ripe bananas (other fruit may be in place of the bananas - try experimenting!)
1 Box of Nilla Vanilla Wafers
1 Stick of butter
1 tablespoon of Adams Extract Vanilla
In a medium sauce pan mix the sugar, flour, & milk. Stir over a medium heat until well blended and good and warm (I stir with a wooden spoon). Turn heat up a little past medium and add the egg yellows, continue stirring until the pudding becomes thicker and starts to bubble just a little. Remove from stove and add stick of butter and teaspoon of Adams Extract Vanilla. Stir this all up good. (You cannot leave your pudding on the stove while you are cooking - or it will burn - stir constantly while cooking) Line the bottom of a large bowl with Nilla Wafers, peel and cut up one banana over your bowl, then add some of your pudding mix until it covers top of first layer, repeat for two more layers or until you run out of pudding. Top with Nilla wafers.
